Our children are divided between 3 floors according to their age and stage of development.
Babies- On our Second Floor
Our baby room is very homely and equipped with natural and sensory materials to encourage them to explore their ever growing senses. We have a smaller kitchen area attached to the baby room in order to be able to attend to all the individual baby’s routine needs. We have a sleep room attached to the baby room also which has sleep music playing in order to create a soft lullaby sound to help the children relax and sleep when they need to.
Teenies-On our first floor
Our 1-2 room is located on the first floor of the nursery with lots of space for our now confident walkers to explore the different activities on offer and make choices about what they want to play with. We have a messy and a play room attached by a little archway so the children can free flow between each room. Also we have a little cosy book/reading area for when the children want a bit of quiet time to sit and look at stories individually or when having one read to them altogether.
Toddlers Messy Room –On our first floor
Our toddlers have a separate messy room to their play room of which is located on our first floor. There are lots of different sensory play activities and sand and water out as continuous provisions which are available throughout the whole day. Here they explore paint and other different creative materials as well as developing their fine motor skills with activities such as cutting.
